Endoscopy

Know Your Surgery
Endoscopy is a minimally invasive medical procedure that enables doctors to examine the internal organs and structures of the body using a long, thin, flexible tube known as an endoscope. This device is equipped with a high-resolution camera and light source, allowing real-time visualization of the digestive tract. Endoscopy is widely used for diagnostic purposes—to identify abnormalities such as ulcers, inflammation, polyps, and tumors—as well as for therapeutic interventions, such as the removal of growths or treatment of bleeding lesions.
